Litigation Attorney

A law firm in St. Louis, MO, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with a focus on personal injury cases. The ideal candidate must demonstrate compassion, empathy, and trustworthiness while effectively representing clients and managing their cases.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to discuss their cases, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
• Build trust, confidence, and respect with clients throughout the legal process.
• Update clients on case status and communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers.
• Prepare cases for trial and serve as first chair during trials if necessary.
• Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients to secure favorable settlements.
• Evaluate claims and develop effective litigation strategies.

Requirements:

• Member of the Missouri Bar in good standing.
• 6+ years of litigation experience, with a focus on personal injury cases.
• Experience serving as first chair in 5-10 personal injury trials.
• Proficient in claim evaluation and litigation strategy development.
• Superb negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Missouri Bar.
