Appellate Practice and Trial Support Associate

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney with 4–6 years of experience in appellate litigation and trial support. The role is suited for a legal professional who has actively participated in courtroom proceedings, including appellate oral arguments and trial-related advocacy. Location:

Duties:

• Prepare and present appellate oral arguments

• Draft appellate briefs, legal memoranda, and motions

• Argue legal motions in trial courts

• Participate in charge conferences and preserve the trial record for appeals

• Provide strategic legal guidance and support to trial teams

• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex litigation matters

Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of hands-on appellate and trial support experience

• Direct courtroom experience, including appellate advocacy and motion practice

• Judicial clerkship experience is preferred

• Strong ability to manage deadlines and high caseloads

• Comfortable working independently and within collaborative teams

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic performance required

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:
