Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join its Southern California litigation team. The associate will focus on defending automobile manufacturers, distributors, and dealers in warranty-related claims. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced team of litigators in a specialized area of consumer litigation. 

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Represent automotive clients in warranty litigation involving breach of warranty, lemon law, and related claims

• Prepare for and participate in trial and arbitration proceedings

• Conduct motion practice, depositions, and mediations

• Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents

• Attend court appearances and hearings

• Collaborate with internal teams and communicate directly with clients on case status and litigation strategy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience

• Trial and arbitration preparation experience required

• Must be based in Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco

• Experience with automotive or warranty litigation is a plus but not required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials preferred

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California

• In good standing with the California State Bar
