Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Plantation, FL, seeks a skilled Litigation Attorney to manage all aspects of cases in state and federal court. The successful candidate will handle pre-trial preparation, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trials, demonstrating a proven track record of winning cases.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of cases in state and federal court from filing through verdict
• Conduct pre-trial preparation, including legal research and drafting motions
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and negotiations
• Serve as first chair in jury trials, with a minimum of 2 trials as first chair
• Handle a large and active caseload efficiently and effectively
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
• Collaborate with colleagues and legal staff to achieve successful case outcomes

Requirements:

• License in good standing to practice law in Florida
• Proven track record of winning cases, including jury trials as first chair
• Ability to handle a large and active caseload with efficiency and effectiveness

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• License to practice law in Florida
