This remote position is ideal for an attorney with a background in bodily injury and construction defect cases. The role requires handling civil cases through trial, including depositions, oral arguments, and settlements. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a legal team.

Location:

Duties:

  • Handle insurance defense cases, focusing on bodily injury, with construction defect experience a plus.

  • Manage civil cases from start to finish, including trial preparation and execution.

  • Take depositions, attend hearings, and argue motions in court.

  • Negotiate settlements and report to clients on case progress.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and provide strategic legal advice.

  • Maintain detailed case documentation and manage case files.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.

  • Proficient in handling civil cases, including taking depositions and representing clients in court.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Must be currently licensed to practice law in Arizona.

  • Additional licensure in other states is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Arizona Bar (in good standing).

  • Additional bar licenses in other states are a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

  • Experience with insurance defense and civil litigation.

  • Ability to negotiate settlements and manage case timelines effectively.
