International Employment Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an International Employment Associate in Palo Alto, CA. The role involves supporting cross-border and global employment work, with a focus on employment counseling. Duties

• Conduct employment diligence and advise on corporate transactions.
• Advise on employment policies and practices.
• Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements.
• Advise on reductions in force and employee terminations.
• Draft restrictive covenants and counsel on employee mobility.
• Provide comprehensive employment law advice to clients.

Requirements

• 3+ years of employment counseling experience, domestic and/or international.
• Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred.
• International counseling experience strongly preferred.

Education

• JD from a nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice in the jurisdiction of application.
