Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for a full-time, hybrid role in San Diego, CA. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of legal files, including court appearances, case strategy development, and trial preparation.

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day aspects of legal files.
  • Appear in court and develop case strategies.
  • Prepare written motions and discovery.
  • Conduct trial preparation, including strategy discussions.
  • Interview clients and prepare witnesses.
  • Prepare direct and cross-examinations.

Requirements

  • Experience in general liability, contract, tort, and commercial litigation.
  • Familiarity with construction industry legal matters preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California.
