Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience to join its team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have NY and NJ bar admission and experience in civil litigation, with the ability to independently manage cases toward resolution or trial. This position offers a hybrid schedule with four days in-office.

Duties

• Manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery in a timely manner.
• Participate in mediations, hearings, and depositions as required.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies for case presentation.
• Complete reports and projects on time, adhering to partner and client guidelines.
• Record billable hours accurately and timely, following client guidelines and firm policy.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Admission to the NJ and NY bar.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the NJ and NY bar.
