Employment Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Attorney with a strong background in providing consulting advice to employers on employment-law compliance and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a portable book of business.

Duties:

• Provide consulting advice to employers regarding employment-law compliance and best practices.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, taking depositions, and arguing motions.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active member of the Michigan Bar in good standing.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in employment law, including labor and employment litigation.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications:

Active membership in the Michigan Bar.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload efficiently.
• Experience in business development and client management is preferred.
• Portable book of business is a plus.
