Job Overview

A leading international law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its Transactional Practice. This role is ideal for an attorney with 3–6 years of experience and a strong interest in shareholder engagement, activism, corporate governance, securities law, and mergers & acquisitions. The position provides an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative, market-leading team across Capital Markets and M&A practice areas.

Duties

  • Advise clients on shareholder activism and corporate governance matters

  • Handle transactions involving public and private mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures

  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents and regulatory filings

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across practice groups

  • Analyze legal risks and develop strategic solutions for complex transactional issues

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of relevant legal experience in securities, M&A, or corporate law

  • Proven ability to manage complex transactions independently or as part of a team

  • Strong interest in corporate governance and shareholder engagement

  • Excellent attention to detail and legal judgment

  • Comfortable working in a high-performance, fast-paced legal environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited, top-tier law school

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in California
