Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with experience in First and Third-Party Insurance Litigation. This role offers an opportunity to manage a variety of insurance-related cases, ranging from initial evaluation to resolution. The Associate will work closely with senior attorneys to develop strategies for complex litigation while maintaining client relationships. Location:

  • Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of first and third-party insurance litigation matters

  • Conduct discovery, draft motions, and prepare for trial

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop litigation strategies

  • Provide legal representation to insurance clients, ensuring excellent service and case outcomes

  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress

  • Work in a team-oriented environment to address complex legal issues

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in First and Third-Party Insurance Litigation or related fields

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

  • Admission to practice law in Florida and in good standing

  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills

  • Experience managing cases from inception through resolution

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida, in good standing

Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

  • Strong case management skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to develop litigation strategies and work independently

  • Proficient in legal research, discovery, and motion practice

  • Client management and communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and legal judgment
