Job Overview: A law firm in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Professional Liability Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience and will be responsible for defending Architect's and engineer's Liability and construction Defect cases, as well as engaging in other practice areas, including Product Liability and Trucking.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to Professional Liability cases.
  • Assist in defending Architect's and engineer's Liability and Construction Defect cases.
  • Provide support in other practice areas, such as Product Liability and Trucking.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and contracts.
  • Attend court proceedings and hearings as required.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Professional Liability, Architect's and engineer's Liability, and Construction Defect cases.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
