A law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse range of cases, from contract disputes to personal injury claims, and more. The role entails conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, managing discovery, representing clients in hearings, depositions, and trials, and providing excellent client service.

Duties:

• Handle various cases, including contract disputes, wrongful death, personal injury, commercial disputes, insurance defense, and more.
• Conduct legal research on case-related issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Manage discovery processes.
• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Provide timely reporting and appearances in court.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in Premises, auto or product liability, healthcare, wrongful death, and personal injury.
• Experience managing a litigation caseload.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents such as briefs, motions, and discovery requests.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• An active member of the Nevada State Bar, in good standing.
• Courtroom experience and deposition-taking abilities.
• Ability to manage cases independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Client-focused mindset with a commitment to achieving successful outcomes.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Nevada State Bar.
