Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Indianapolis is actively seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience, showcasing a strong preference for prior commercial litigation expertise. The ideal candidate will possess an outstanding academic record and be self-motivated, organized, and persuasive. Indiana licensure is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Duties:

• Manage and handle various aspects of litigation cases from initiation to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court, presenting arguments and evidence.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.
• Maintain organized and detailed case files and documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for prior commercial litigation experience.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Excellent academic record.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Indiana.
• Self-motivated and organized with strong persuasive skills.

Education:
