Job Title: Senior Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Senior Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for effectively communicating with clients, lawyers, and third parties, producing high-quality work products, meeting deadlines, and fostering positive work relationships. The role requires handling civil litigation matters in state and federal courts, conducting and defending depositions, managing case dockets, and appearing in court as necessary. Trial experience is highly valued.

Job Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience conducting and defending depositions.
• Proficient in managing a case docket.
• Experience appearing in court.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Experience handling multi-district litigation is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.
