A well-established law firm in Canton is currently seeking a Family Law Partner to take a pivotal role within their legal practice. In this position, the Family Law Partner will be responsible for handling a wide range of legal matters related to family law, including divorce, child custody, adoption, domestic violence, and other related issues.

The core responsibilities of the Family Law Partner encompass providing expert legal advice and guidance on family law matters to clients. This involves handling all aspects of family law cases, from divorce and child custody to child and spousal support, adoption, paternity, and domestic violence. The role also includes conducting comprehensive legal research and analyzing laws, regulations, and legal precedents to build strong cases for clients. In addition, the Family Law Partner will prepare and draft legal documents, represent clients in court proceedings, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with other legal professionals to strategize and develop effective case strategies.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 12+ years of experience practicing family law, and experience working with high-net-worth individuals is strongly preferred. A portable book of business is required for this role, along with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in Ohio. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously are also essential qualifications.
