Government Contracts Associate Attorney

A law firm in McLean is seeking a Government Contracts Associate Attorney to join their busy and growing practice. The candidate will advise companies on various federal contracting matters and have the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters with direct client interaction in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Duties:

• Advise companies on federal contracting matters, including bid protests, claims, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) compliance, subcontracting and teaming issues, and small business federal procurement programs.
• Work on sophisticated matters with direct client interaction.
• Provide timely and high-quality work product.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet critical deadlines.
• Develop subject matter expertise.
• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented culture.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 1-4 years of experience in government contracts law.
• An active member in good standing of the Bar of any jurisdiction.
