Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to join their team. The candidate will primarily work under the Private Client group, representing high net worth business owners and their businesses in diverse industries. This role offers opportunities to work on interesting and challenging matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various common and sophisticated agreements.

Job Duties:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of common and sophisticated agreements.
• Work primarily under the Private Client group representing high net worth business owners and their businesses.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to provide legal advice and support.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate and business matters.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and other corporate transactions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
• Maintain accurate and organized legal files and documentation.
• Attend meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Assist with business development and client relationship management initiatives.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• An undergraduate degree in business is preferred.
• 1-3 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate law.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
