Casualty Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join the Casualty Litigation Department in Lancaster, PA. Duties

• Assist in handling casualty litigation cases, including preparation, research, and drafting legal documents.
• Provide support during depositions, hearings, and trials, working closely with senior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research, preparing memoranda and briefs as needed.
• Develop and implement case strategies in coordination with senior attorneys.
• Participate in client meetings and communicate legal updates as necessary.
• Engage in pro bono work as part of the firm’s commitment to community service.
• Actively participate in training sessions and mentoring programs to build litigation expertise.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on casualty or personal injury law.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Top-tier academic credentials.
• Experience through a judicial clerkship is a plus.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to handle a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• A team player who is eager to learn and grow in the field.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic record with a focus on litigation or relevant areas of law.
