A law firm is seeking a Discovery Attorney for their El Segundo, CA location. The Discovery Attorney will primarily focus on discovery-related tasks, including document review, analysis, and preparation. The ideal candidate will have the necessary Bar admission and be prepared to contribute to the discovery process effectively.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct document review and analysis for discovery purposes.
  • Prepare responses to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
  • Assist with drafting and filing discovery-related motions and responses.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop and implement discovery strategies.
  • Manage and organize discovery-related documents and evidence.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to discovery procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients regarding discovery matters.

 

Requirements:

  • Bar admission in California.
  • Previous experience or familiarity with discovery procedures preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
