A law firm is seeking a Real Estate/Business Associate Attorney for their Panama City Beach office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong academic credentials who can conduct legal research, independently draft transactional documents, attend client appointments, and assist clients in meeting business goals. They will actively seek opportunities to become involved in special projects and committees, adhere to all standards of excellence in file management, and maintain the integrity of the firm's offerings by complying with regulations and policies.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research
  • Independently draft transactional documents
  • Attend client appointments independently
  • Understand client expectations and assist in meeting business goals
  • Handle and seek opportunities for involvement in special projects and committees
  • Complete all required administrative tasks, including time reporting and closed cases
  • Make effective use of technology and automation in legal practice
  • Adhere to standards of excellence in file management
  • Travel as required to meet business needs
  • Maintain integrity of the firm by complying with federal and state regulations and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Current license to practice law, in good standing with the Florida Bar
  • 3+ years of experience in real estate, business law, commercial transactions, and/or community associations
  • Prior transactional experience in estate, business law, commercial transactions, and/or community association matters
  • Ability to participate in all aspects of the firm's professional activities
  • Record case time and expenses contemporaneously
  • Punctuality and ability to abide by agreed office hours
  • Attention to detail and meeting deadlines efficiently
  • Strong research skills
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and file management software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • High ethical standards and confidentiality of client matters
