Corporate Associate (Junior)

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Corporate group in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience with start-ups, emerging growth companies, seed and venture capital financings, growth and private equity, and mergers & acquisitions.

Duties

• Counsel early-stage entrepreneurs.
• Represent companies and venture funds in financing rounds and M&A.
• Engage in investor-side financing in growth equity rounds.
• Maintain significant client contact, interacting with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners.

Requirements

• JD from 2022 - 2023.
• Previous large law firm experience required.
• Admitted or eligible to waive into the State Bar of Massachusetts.
• Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds.
• Experience in venture capital financings, growth and/or private equity, M&A transactions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• Admitted to the State Bar of Massachusetts or eligible for waiver.

Skills

• Comfortable with significant client interaction.
