Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-senior level Energy Project Finance and Development Associate in Boston, MA. This full-time, hybrid position offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries. The role involves significant responsibility in energy project development and finance transactions.

Duties

  • Draft primary and ancillary transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements.
  • Manage complex diligence and transaction management tasks.
  • Supervise and guide junior associates and internal specialist teams.
  • Engage in client interaction and ensure high-quality work product.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in energy project development, M&A, and project finance transactions.
  • Familiarity with offtake agreements, interconnection agreements, and energy regulation.
  • Admission to one or more state bars.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in at least one state.
