Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients in complex financial matters.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements, contracts, and other legal documents related to banking and finance transactions.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop legal strategies and solutions for clients.
  • Provide counsel to clients on regulatory compliance and risk management issues.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York Bar is preferred.
  • 5-6 years of experience in banking and finance law, focusing on leverage and acquisition finance.
  • Demonstrated expertise in private credit and refinancing transactions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York Bar is preferred.
