Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Antitrust Associate to join its team in Washington, D.C. The successful candidate will engage in a wide range of antitrust and competition law matters, providing strategic legal counsel and representation in various proceedings and investigations.

Duties

• Conduct antitrust audits and develop compliance programs.
• Provide antitrust counseling and strategic advice.
• Represent clients in antitrust litigation and government investigations.
• Engage in mergers and acquisitions and related compliance activities.
• Participate in international cartel investigations and class action litigation.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in M&A, HSR, and transactional counseling.
• Premerger experience is essential.
• Excellent academic credentials and writing skills.
• Large firm or relevant government agency experience preferred.
• Federal clerkship completion is strongly considered.
• DC bar membership required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the DC Bar.
