Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Santa Barbara is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2+ years of significant litigation experience. The ideal candidate should possess superior credentials and hold a current license to practice in the State of California.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on case-related issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and stakeholders.
• Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
• Attend and participate in client meetings and case-related conferences.
• Stay updated on developments in litigation law and legal precedents.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of significant litigation experience.
• Current license to practice law in the State of California.
