The candidate should preferably have litigation experience and a bachelor's degree and/or an advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer science. Admission to the Illinois, California, New York, or District of Columbia Bar, active and in good standing, is also required.

The candidate should have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a track record of insightful research and analysis, and persuasive writing abilities.
