Real Estate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Venice, FL, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Real Estate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal expertise in real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and representing the firm in property-related matters.

Duties:

• Monitor legal risk in real estate documentation and provide advisory services to clients.
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for real estate transactions.
• Draft and negotiate real estate transactions, including routine leases and amendments.
• Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained before executing real estate transactions.
• Manage regulatory and compliance-related services.
• Represent the firm in purchases and sales of properties.
• Defend municipal code litigation.
• Provide legal support and general advisory services for a large-scale real estate portfolio.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in law.
• Admitted as a notary public (essential).
• Strong experience in real estate law with knowledge of litigation, lease transactions, property management, and purchase and sale transactions.
• Solid experience in title insurance underwriting, curative, and claims.
• Good understanding of foreclosure.
