Duties:

  • Handle various complex transactions related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients regarding private equity funds and financial institutions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to ensure compliance and accuracy in all transactions.
  • Draft and review various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop strategies and solutions for transactional matters.
  • Maintain communication and correspondence with clients to provide updates and address concerns throughout the transaction process.

Requirements:

  • JD or LLM degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the District of Columbia Bar or eligibility for admission.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of private equity transactional experience.
  • Strong academic credentials demonstrating excellence in critical reasoning skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing responsibilities effectively.

Education and Certifications:
