Intellectual Property Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Tampa, FL, is seeking an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3+ years of patent and trademark prosecution and litigation experience. Duties:

• Independently prepare USPTO filings and court pleadings.

• Take and defend depositions (experience preferred).
• Draft IP agreements (experience preferred).

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of patent and trademark prosecution and litigation experience.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and practical judgment.
• Currently admitted to practice in Florida, Georgia, California, DC, or New York.
• USPTO registration number or patent Bar eligibility is strongly preferred.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, California, DC, or New York.
• USPTO registration number or patent Bar eligibility preferred.
