Mid to senior-level IP Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Troy is seeking a Mid to senior-level IP Litigation Associate Attorney with a strong background in litigation and expertise in intellectual property matters. The ideal candidate should possess 2+ years of litigation experience and hold a degree in electrical engineering and/or computer science. Strong legal writing skills and a willingness to travel for court appearances are essential for this role.

Duties:

• Handle intellectual property litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis specific to IP matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to IP litigation.
• Attend court appearances and hearings, including travel when necessary.
• Manage relationships with internal and external clients and counsel.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant IP litigation experience.
• Degree in electrical engineering and/or computer science.
• Strong legal writing skills.
• Willingness to travel for court appearances.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
