Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Seattle, WA, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of relevant law firm experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in private offerings, general venture capital and tech company corporate transactions, public company representation, and public offerings. The candidate must be highly motivated, possess excellent academic credentials, exceptional verbal and written skills, and superior communication skills. Membership to the WA State Bar is required.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on corporate law matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to private offerings, venture capital transactions, and public offerings.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on corporate matters.
  • Assist senior attorneys in preparing for negotiations, transactions, and litigation.
  • Attend meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Maintain client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant law firm experience focusing on corporate law.
  • Membership to the WA State Bar.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations about corporate transactions.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar.
