A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Probate Litigation Associate Attorney to manage a caseload of probate litigation matters, represent clients in court proceedings, and provide legal counsel. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in probate litigation and possess strong research, drafting, and advocacy skills.

 

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of probate litigation matters, including estate and trust disputes, guardianship and conservatorship issues, and related cases
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice on their cases
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines in the practice of law in Arizona
  • Assist with case management and preparation for hearings and trials
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process
  • Prepare and present oral arguments in court
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney in probate litigation preferred
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of Arizona
  • Familiarity with Arizona's probate laws, including estate and trust litigation, guardianship, and conservatorship laws
  • Skills in litigation, particularly in probate or closely related areas
  • Ability to conduct thorough and accurate legal research and analysis
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondence

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Arizona
