Dispute Resolution Solicitor

Christchurch office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a dispute resolution solicitor with 5 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation. The candidate should be a qualified solicitor/ FCILEx. Must have some advocacy experience.

The candidate should be able to convey information accurately and articulately, both verbally and in writing. Able to negotiate and influence needed. Communicating effectively at all levels is required. Must be able to work independently and manage a caseload with excellent organizational skills. Should have focused on detail and been methodical, organized, and systematic. Must structure own workload, making the best use of resources and time. Marketing and networking skills, able to meet new clients and win business needed. The ability to motivate yourself to meet/exceed targets is desired. The ability to adapt and respond to changes is a plus. Shows initiative is desired. Generating new ideas and thinking of original solutions is preferred. Should preferably encourage new ideas and team members' opinions. Anticipates clients future needs, sees opportunities for other teams and makes suitable is a plus.
