Investment Services Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking an Investment Services Associate Attorney to join their Chicago, IL office. The Associate Attorney will focus on managing multiple matters simultaneously, primarily dealing with registered investment companies, investment advisers, and federal securities laws compliance.

Duties:

• Manage multiple matters concurrently within the realm of investment services
• Provide legal counsel on regulatory and compliance issues related to federal securities laws
• Handle matters concerning registered investment companies and investment advisers
• Conduct research and analysis on relevant legal issues

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree with strong academic credentials
• Admission to the Bar in relevant jurisdiction or taking steps to become admitted
• 4-6 years of experience in investment services, particularly with registered investment companies and investment advisers
• Proficiency in regulatory and compliance matters regarding federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933

Juris Doctor (JD) degree
