A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney for its New York City office. This position requires:

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and expertise in structured finance, securitization, and CLO matters. The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in structured finance, securitization, and CLO matters.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Big law firm experience, immediately transferable skills, and strong academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools are strongly preferred.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in New York.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
