Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Litigation Attorney with experience in civil litigation and related areas to represent clients in various legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, as well as a solid understanding of state laws and regulations.

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide advice and guidance to clients
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar Association
• 4+ years of experience as a litigation attorney, preferably with a focus on civil litigation
• Strong knowledge of state laws and regulations related to litigation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
