Job Title: Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm located in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an accomplished Senior Litigation Attorney with 5-8 years of hands-on experience to support its aviation, aerospace, automotive, and product litigation practice. This role involves active participation across the full spectrum of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate is a proactive litigator with strong writing skills, capable of managing complex caseloads independently, and passionate about delivering results for a diverse clientele, including airlines, airports, automotive manufacturers, government contractors, and insurers.

Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation from initial pleadings through trial support.

• Conduct depositions, argue motions, and appear at court hearings and mediations.

• Draft legal pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.

• Perform thorough and detailed legal research, preparing high-quality memoranda.

• Advise clients through written status reports and legal analyses.

• Oversee document review projects in preparation for litigation.

• Manage discovery tasks, expert witness coordination, and trial preparation.

Requirements:

• 5- 8 years of litigation experience, ideally within aviation, product liability, or automotive sectors.

• Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for cases, including leading discovery and trial preparation.

• Prior experience working with California Lemon Law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

• Familiarity with both State and Federal court procedures.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic achievement.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
