Duties:

  • Conduct patent searches, analyze prior art, and provide strategic advice on patentability and freedom-to-operate issues.
  • Draft and prosecute patent applications related to medical devices and mechanical engineering.
  • Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and clients to understand the technical aspects of inventions.
  • Participate in patent portfolio management, including analyzing and advising on portfolio strategies.
  • Provide legal support and counsel on intellectual property matters related to medical devices and mechanical products.

  • Stay updated on relevant legal and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical or mechanical engineering.
  • Other engineering disciplines, coupled with substantial patent experience in medical devices and/or mechanical products, will be considered.
