Job Overview: A law firm in San Bernardino, CA, seeks a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a member of the California State Bar with strong communication and interpersonal skills, possessing significant legal knowledge in Civil Litigation and at least 2+ years of experience in Bodily Injury, general liability, and PI cases.

Job Duties:

  • Manage and run their caseload of Plaintiff Personal Injury cases.
  • Understand and adhere to the Code of Civil Procedure and discovery deadlines.
  • Propound and respond to discovery requests efficiently.
  • Take and defend depositions or demonstrate a willingness to learn.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members while also being able to work autonomously.
  • Welcome and utilize defense experience when applicable.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent.
  • Member of the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Bodily Injury, general liability, and Plaintiff Personal Injury cases.
  • Strong understanding of Civil Litigation procedures.
  • Experience with propounding and responding to discovery requests.
  • Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in defense work.
  • Familiarity with San Bernardino legal practices and procedures.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Member of the California State Bar.
