A law firm in Englewood, CO, is actively seeking a Medical Malpractice Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of civil litigation experience. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in motions briefing, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and trial or arbitration experience in medical malpractice or personal injury litigation. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with senior attorneys, other associates, and legal staff in developing case management strategies for complex legal issues.

Duties:

  • Handle civil litigation cases in medical malpractice or personal injury, including motions briefing, depositions, motion argument, and trial or arbitration proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, associates, and legal staff in developing case management strategies for complex legal issues.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Attend court hearings, representing clients effectively.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of civil litigation experience in medical malpractice or personal injury.
  • License to practice law in the state of Colorado (preferred).
  • Excellent research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Experience in motions briefing, depositions, and trial or arbitration proceedings.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • License to practice law in the state of Colorado (preferred).

Skills:

  • Civil litigation experience in medical malpractice or personal injury.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing and advocacy skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
