A law firm is seeking a Mid-level Chemical Science Patent Prosecution Associate Attorney to join their team in Kansas City. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in performing complex and sensitive client work involving the preparation of patent applications and responses to USPTO communications. Duties:

• Prepare draft patent applications and responses to USPTO communications.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• Degree in organic chemistry or chemical engineering.
• High level of academic achievement.
• The solid law firm, engineering, or industry experience.

Education:

• JD and admission to the USPTO are required.
• Advanced degrees in organic chemistry or chemical engineering are preferred.

Certifications:

Admission to the USPTO.
