A law firm seeks a talented Real Estate Associate to join its team in the Downtown Los Angeles office. This role primarily focuses on commercial leasing, with an emphasis on office, retail, and industrial leases. Ideal candidates will have 4-5 years of hands-on experience drafting documents related to commercial real estate transactions. Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate commercial real estate leases, including office, retail, and industrial properties.
  • Advise clients on various leasing matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the review and negotiation of real estate acquisition and disposition agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, including title and survey reviews.
  • Support finance and transactional matters related to real estate.
  • Collaborate with clients and legal teams to structure, document, and execute deals.
  • Handle significant individual responsibilities while working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and legal developments affecting real estate law.
  • Manage client relationships and provide clear, timely legal advice.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on commercial leasing.
  • Strong drafting skills and experience with commercial office, retail, and industrial leases.
  • Experience with real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and finance is a plus.
  • Ability to conduct thorough due diligence, including title and survey reviews.
  • Familiarity with data center leasing is beneficial, though not required.
  • Experience at a major law firm is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Exceptional academic credentials.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
