Job Overview: A law firm in Chicago, IL, seeks a dynamic and qualified IP Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-6 years of experience. Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of litigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.
  • Provide legal counsel on intellectual property issues to clients.

Requirements:

  • 1-6 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
  • Law firm experience preferred.
  • Technical degree in biology, chemistry, physical sciences, engineering, or related fields.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Admitted to practice law and in good standing in IL.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar.
