Patent Attorney

Seattle office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a patent attorney with 7-10 years of experience in IP and patent prosecution work. The candidate will have extensive interaction with in-house attorneys, investors, and firm attorneys. Will represent clients seeking to enforce patents, as well as those defending against claims of patent infringement. Must have a portable book of business. Experience working across areas such as mechanical, electrical, and food technology preferred. Must have a License to practice law in Washington, Oregon, New York States or Washington, D.C. (or the ability to waive into practice in one of the areas).

The candidate should have excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Must be a client-oriented approach to practice. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including with legal support staff needed. Demonstrated interest in giving back to the communities in which the firm lives and works needed.
