A law firm based in Concord, CA, is seeking a driven and adaptable associate to join its litigation team. Duties:

• Prepare pleadings, motions, and other court filings

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis

• Manage all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests

• Represent clients at hearings and motion arguments

• Assist with trial preparation and pre-trial proceedings

• Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and clients to drive case strategy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting

• Current license to practice law in California

• Background in employment and/or real estate litigation preferred

• Willingness to develop courtroom and arbitration skills with mentorship

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar
