Real Estate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Attorney for its Concord, CA office. The successful candidate will work with property owners and managers on landlord-tenant matters, including assessing eviction viability.

Duties

• Guide clients through the eviction process.
• Provide legal advice via phone consultations.
• Conduct legal research to assess cases and issues.
• Draft legal correspondence, including letters and notices.
• Prepare and review legal documents, such as summons and complaints.

Requirements

• J.D. and active California Bar license (pending December 2024 license accepted).
• 1+ years of attorney experience.
• General knowledge of civil litigation.
• Familiarity with landlord-tenant principles preferred.
• Understanding of the litigation process and California Civil Code preferred.
• Experience with the rental housing industry preferred.

Education

• Graduate degree in law.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license.
