Appellate Law Attorney

Duties:

• Prepare for and participate in appellate court oral arguments.
• Analyze lower court records and transcripts for potential appellate issues.
• Collaborate with clients, co-counsel, and other legal professionals to develop appellate strategies.
• Review and analyze case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedent.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on appellate matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Tennessee State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• 5-15 years of experience in appellate advocacy, with a strong track record of success.
• Proven ability to write persuasive appellate briefs and legal memoranda.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
