A law firm seeks a Land Use and Real Estate Associate Attorney in Bloomington, MN, to support clients on zoning, permitting, environmental compliance, mining, solar, and related regulatory matters within a dedicated practice group.

Duties

  • Represent clients before municipal and county boards on land use, zoning, environmental, and historic preservation matters.

  • Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to inform transactional and permitting advice.

  • Draft and negotiate land development agreements, regulatory filings, and municipal submissions.

  • Attend and present at planning commissions, public hearings, and other governmental meetings.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in land use and/or real estate law.

  • Minnesota licensure in good standing.

  • Familiarity with local government processes; prior public-sector or municipal experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet client objectives.

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Minnesota State Bar.
