A law firm in Calabasas is seeking a Transaction Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with purchase and sale agreements, title and survey review, due diligence, financing, joint ventures (JV's), and leasing. Duties:

  • Review and draft purchase and sale agreements for real estate transactions.
  • Conduct title and survey review to ensure property ownership and clear title.
  • Perform due diligence investigations on properties and related documents.
  • Assist with financing arrangements for real estate transactions.
  • Negotiate and draft joint venture agreements.
  • Draft and review lease agreements for commercial and residential properties.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on transactional matters.
  • Collaborate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • 3-5 years of experience in transactional law, preferably in real estate.
  • Strong understanding of purchase and sale agreements, title review, due diligence, financing, JV's, and leasing.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
